The days are getting shorter and the skies are getting a bit rainier, but we’re still shooting senior portrait sessions for those 2013 grads! Last week we were brought out to Warren, Oregon for a creative outdoor session with Lydia J. from Cleveland High School.

Amazingly, Lydia drives from way out in the country side to get to school in SE Portland every day! I was amazed. She get’s the best of both worlds. Beautiful quiet calm country side with views of Mt. Hood, Helens and Adams from her home and cows mooing from neighboring pastures… and the romantic grit and glam of the ‘big’ city. Not to mention awesome food! Voodoo Donuts and Coava Coffee do not exist in Warren, I can guarantee that.

Warren (just beyond Scappoose) is a bit further than I usually travel for senior sessions, but I thought it might be fun to get a change of scenery. And it was! It was a breath of fresh air. Our Senior Portrait Session was fun! I got creative with my lights as the sun was going down and the misty fog began to creep up the gully in her back yard. This was an awesome alternative location shoot to the urban shoots I usually do. Thanks, Lydia, for expanding our horizons! Here’s a few pics from our session…
