Lydia Johnson | Cleveland High School Senior Portraits

Lydia was such an awesome model. So natural and easy in front of the camera. I was happy she asked me to drive out to her house near Scappoose for her high school senior session.  I shoot mostly urban senior portraiture in various areas throughout Portland. I’m used to shooting on location outdoors, but the country scenery was a refreshing change.

I had a blast! This session really shows how fun senior portraits can be. Not to mention, I spotted her grandma’s super sweet Volvo… obviously we had to fit that into some of the pics. I love using awesome cars as photo props. Those definitely accounted for some unique senior portraits. To wrap up the session, a layer of misty fog crept up into Lydia’s backyard, creating a super cool and unique feel for some of her photos. Basically, it was an awesome session.

I loved having Lydia and her mom over to my studio to view her session. They are both so awesome and I can’t wait to see which pictures they choose. Here are the finalists they’re picking from…
